My Approach

Design isn’t just about solving problems. It’s about surfacing the right problems.

I don’t treat UX as a checklist or a layer we apply at the end. I treat it as a conversation — with the business, product and engineering, and most importantly, with the user/customer.

Whether I’m working on a v1 product, guiding a team through ambiguity, or reframing features around real human tasks, my approach stays grounded in three key principles:

Clarity Before Creativity

Good UX doesn’t start with Figma. It starts with focus. Before I draw anything, I ask, “What causes a customer to purchase and use a particular product or service?” There should be a shared understanding among stakeholders:

  • Who is this for?
  • What are they trying to accomplish?
  • What’s in their way?
  • How do they manage now?
  • What if we don’t build this?

From here, I build flows, models, and experience maps that strip away noise and make space for confident decisions — both for users and teams.

Direction That Scales

A great experience today means nothing if it can’t evolve tomorrow. My goal isn’t just to ship — it’s to set the product on a clear, scalable path. That means designing with flexibility, planning for extensibility, and thinking beyond the current sprint.

Whether it’s AI, accessibility, or platform integration, I always ask:

What does this need to become — and how do we plant the seeds now?

In Short

    • I meet teams where they are
    • I lead through listening, not just expertise
    • I believe UX is how you build trust — with your product and your people
