I help get jobs done
My concern is, “what causes a customer to purchase and use a particular product or service?” I define Jobs to be Done (JTBD) as:
- The process a customer or user goes through to change their current situation into a preferred one and;
- The constraints preventing them from achieving it (their goal).
This is a customer centric approach for designing products and services. Here are the key departments I target for collaboration throughout the organization: product, sales, engineering, and marketing.
